circa 1848, with 6in. octagonal barrel, the top-flat signed 'PARKER FIELD & SON, 223 HIGH HOLBORN, LONDON' (rubbed, sights removed and missing), wedge fastener, fully fluted cylinder with outward angled fenced nipples, London proofs, border and scroll engraved action with off-set central hammer, chequered walnut grip (worn smooth) and guarded trigger
